The Chamber of Commerce Mountain View is located in Mountain View, California. A non-profit organization, the Chamber serves as the collective voice of local businesses and industry and is funded by its membership of over 550 businesses and organizations. Membership represents businesses of all cities and industries.

Business News

The Chamber's monthly e-newsletter, Business News, provides advertising opportunities for new businesses, information on upcoming Chamber events, the latest legislative and leadership news and opportunities for community involvement with its concise thought provoking articles. Subscription is included with membership.

Business Directory

The Chamber of Commerce produces an annual Business Directory which fosters member referrals and provides listings and contacts for community networking. Membership includes a free listing in the directory and the opportunity to reach over 10,000 businesses in the area.

Legislative Advocacy

The Business Issues & Public Policy (BIPP) Committee informs the membership and recommends positions to the Board of Directors on legislative issues: local, state and federal. Women in Business Luncheons

One of our most popular events, the Monthly Business Mixer is hosted by our Chamber Members. Always a fun event, it's a 2-hour schmooze-a-rama that you don't want to miss.

Special Events

All members are encouraged to participate in Chamber sponsored community events and grand openings. Planning Committees also provide an avenue to involvement and networking. Chamber's Special Events Leadership Mountain View

Leadership Mountain View (LMV) is an intensive public affairs/leadership development program designed to equip the community's civic leadership for effective service. LMV has been an important training ground for community leaders since 1990. Each year, up to 30 participants are selected to attend the nine monthly full-day seminars that make up the Leadership Mountain View course. http://www.chambermv.org/leadership

Certificates of Origin

The Office Manager of the Chamber of Commerce will authorize all Certificates of Origin performed by the Chamber of Commerce Mountain View for a cost of $5.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members. Chamber New Member Breakfast

Chamber members have the opportunity to network and mingle at the Chamber New Member Breakfasts which occur twice a year, usually in February and July. Continental breakfast is provided. Information about Chamber programs and opportunity for feedback will also be an important part of the morning. This event is free for Chamber members. Date and location will be announced. Diversity Youth Forum

Through an open and honest exchange of ideas and experiences, middle and high school students work to gain broader awareness and understanding of issues related to diversity. A deeper appreciation of those issues is fostered by this annual event. Sponsored by Oriki Theater. The Chamber is proud to partner with Oriki Theater on this forum, www.diversityyouthforum.org.

The Chamber sponsors a variety of programs including: The Business Focus Forum with the City Council, Leadership Mountain View, educational workshops for business growth and development, Legislative Advocacy, Mentoring, Community Involvement, and Business Resources.
