Committees/Programs
Ambassador Committee
Ambassadors are the "listening ear" for the Chamber. They visit
members, answer questions, encourage participation and welcome new
members at monthly events. The Ambassador Committee meets regularly on
the first Tuesday of the month at 4pm in the Chamber Conference room.

Business ConneXions
These leads and referral programs offer Chamber members the opportunity
to make the most of their contacts through formal weekly leads
exchanges. The fee is $55 for the first year and $35 for each
consecutive year. Participation is based on a first-come first-serve
basis, and anyone who does not get into a group right away (due to
duplication of business types) will be put on a waiting list. For more
information, contact the Chamber at 650.968.8378.
Business Issues and Public Policy (BIPP)
The Business Issues and Public Policy (BIPP) committee identifies and
acts on key issues of interest to Mountain View businesses. Areas of
focus include local, state and federal legislative issues, as well as
business and industry related issues, such as transportation, economic
development, environmental health & safety, regulation and business
trends. BIPP meets regularly on the second Wednesday of the month at
noon in the Chamber Boardroom. For more information, contact Jessica Arline at 650.968.8378 or
jarline@chambermv.org.
Diversity Youth Forum
The Diversity Forum works to create an inclusive environment within the
Chamber and the community, celebrating and encouraging a diverse
community in Mountain View. The forum meets on as needed basis and
occasionally works with the city's Human Relations Commission. For more information, contact the Chamber at 650.968.8378.
Legislative Advocacy
The Business Issues & Public Policy (BIPP) Committee informs the
membership and recommends positions to the Board of Directors on
legislative issues: local, state and federal. The Chamber's Advocacy
Sub-Committee researches the issues and advocates to legislators on
behalf of the business community. For information, contact Jessica
Arline at:
jarline@chambermv.org
Women in Business Committee
Women in Business (WIB) monthly luncheons provide members an
opportunity to network and enjoy excellent speakers. Luncheons are held
the second Tuesday of the month at Michaels at Shoreline. The Women in
Business Committee coordinates monthly luncheons and presents
Scholarship awards in May. For more information, contact Dave Stevens at 650.968.8378 or
dave@chambermv.org.
Art & Wine Festival
Art & Wine Festival is the weekend following Labor Day in
September. The Chamber needs 1,000 people to volunteer for a three-hour
period during Festival weekend, as well as volunteers for the Art &
Wine planning committee. For more information contact Dave Stevens at 650.968.8378 or
dave@chambermv.org.
Celebration of Leaders Committee
Annual Celebration of Leaders recognizes outstanding contributions in
the Mountain View community at an awards dinner and ceremony.
Volunteers are needed to serve on the planning and selection
Committees. For information, contact Dave Stevens at 650.968.8378 or

Building Task Force
The Chamber's Building Task Force was formed to find a long-term
solution to the Chamber's facility plan. The Chamber is currently
located in an office that was built 40 years ago for a staff of two.
Today, with eight staff members, a growing membership, and a successful
community, the Chamber of Commerce needs to relocate. We are looking
for task force members who have experience in real estate, local
development and/or capital campaigns!
